Germany Eliminated from World Cup

The Germany national team won against Costa Rica in their third group stage match of the World Cup, but failed to advance to the knockout stage of the tournament in Qatar, reports News.ru.

The Group E match, held at the 'Al Bayt' stadium, ended with a score of 4:2. Germany's goals came from Serge Gnabry, Kai Havertz (twice), and Niclas Füllkrug. For Costa Rica, the scorers were Yeltsin Tejeda and Juan Vargas.

In the other match of the group, Spain lost to Japan with a score of 1-2. As a result, Germany earned 4 points and finished third in the group, missing second place due to a worse goal difference compared to Spain. Japan topped the group.

This marks the second consecutive time Germany has been eliminated from the World Cup after the group stage.
