Zakharova Invites Ukrainian Politicians to Crimea
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, has invited Ukrainian politicians to Crimea.
“Mikhail Podolyak, the advisor to the head of Volodymyr Zelensky’s office, promised to give an interview to Ukrainian journalists in Yalta in six months. I want to tell Zelensky and Podolyak: don’t hesitate, come, swim if you want to give an interview—bring in Ukrainian journalists, and join us,” Zakharova said during a briefing in Moscow.
“I can confidently say to the head of Zelensky’s office that he will have time for an interview in Yalta if he comes. Bring a larger group of Ukrainian journalists so that everyone can see everything, and what problem is there?” Zakharova added.
The Foreign Ministry representative noted that both Ukrainian and Western journalists have always had the opportunity to visit Crimea. “It’s true, they didn’t do that; for eight years, they spun all sorts of tales, told what they wanted, only they never came to the territory of the republic, in fact, they didn’t go to Donbas either. They didn’t go anywhere where the picture doesn’t fit into their main narrative,” the Foreign Ministry’s official representative stated.
