Aliyev Explains Why Meeting with Pashinyan Scheduled for December 7 Will Not Happen
The meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, scheduled for December 7 in Brussels, will not take place. Aliyev made this announcement during the international conference titled "Middle Corridor: Geopolitics, Security, and Economy."
“The meeting in Brussels was supposed to occur on December 7. However, yesterday Hikmet Hajiyev informed me that he had been contacted by the office of Charles Michel and communicated that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan agreed to the meeting only if French President Macron participated. This means that this meeting will not take place,” said the Azerbaijani leader.
