Will the Civil Contract Participate in the Extraordinary Meeting Initiated by the Armenia Bloc?

The Civil Contract faction will participate in the extraordinary meeting of the National Assembly on December 2, which has been initiated by the opposition Armenia bloc. This was stated by Edward Aghajanyan, the chair of the National Assembly's Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, during a briefing with journalists.

“At this moment, there are no concrete proposals. We have agreed that today the Civil Contract faction will make certain amendments and will hold a working discussion with our colleagues tomorrow during the day. There are points in the draft declaration included in the meeting's agenda that are acceptable, and there are points that need to be worked on. In any case, the extraordinary meeting will take place, and the ruling faction will be present at the meeting,” Aghajanyan stated.

At the initiative of the Armenia bloc in the National Assembly, an extraordinary meeting will be convened on December 2 at 11:00 AM, as per the decision of the Speaker of the National Assembly. The meeting is called in connection with the statement made by the Azerbaijani parliament on November 8, 2022. The main report will be presented by Andranik Tevanian, who will present the draft declaration of the National Assembly.
