VIDEO: Putin Announces Discussion with Pashinyan on Nagorno-Karabakh Situation
Joint efforts within the CSTO framework are yielding visible practical results. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during the CSTO Collective Security Council summit in Yerevan.
“We, of course, see not only achievements but also challenges. Today, our partners spoke about this, we will discuss it further, I believe, without cameras and in more detail. However, it is evident to us that joint work within the CSTO framework is bringing visible practical results, helping to ensure the national interests, sovereignty, and independence of our countries,” he said.
Putin also announced at the CSTO summit that he had a brief discussion with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan regarding the resolution of the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, adding that this work would continue at an official meeting. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
“We have already exchanged brief thoughts with the Prime Minister (Pashinyan). Of course, we will discuss this in more detail during our bilateral meeting today,” Putin stated.
