Video: Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko Arrives in Yerevan
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has arrived in Yerevan, where he will participate in a session of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Collective Security Council, which will be chaired by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
A meeting between Alexander Lukashenko and Russian President Vladimir Putin is also scheduled.
The CSTO session is expected to include the participation of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, and Tajik President Emomali Rahmon. The meeting will also feature CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas.
The council members will discuss current issues of international and regional security, as well as the main outcomes of the activities of the Collective Security Treaty Organization during the period between sessions. One of the most crucial issues will be the improvement of the CSTO crisis response system and the discussion of joint measures to provide assistance to Armenia.
