Russian Peacekeepers Record Ceasefire Violation in Artsakh

In the Martuni district of Artsakh, within the responsibility zone of the peacekeepers, a ceasefire violation by Azerbaijan has been recorded, according to a report from the Russian Ministry of Defense on the activities of Russian peacekeepers.

"One ceasefire violation has been recorded. Near the village of Avdur in the Martuni region, gunfire was opened from an Azerbaijani military observation post at a tractor conducting agricultural work in the village," the report states. No casualties or injuries have been reported as a result of the shelling. The incident is being investigated by the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in cooperation with representatives from the Azerbaijani and Armenian sides," the statement added.
