Russian Defense Ministry on the Situation in Artsakh

The Russian peacekeeping force continues to carry out its mission in Nagorno-Karabakh. This is stated in a message released by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

“At 30 observation posts, Russian peacekeepers monitor the situation around the clock and ensure compliance with the ceasefire regime. No violations have been recorded in the areas of responsibility of the Russian contingent,” the statement emphasizes.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, peacekeepers have conducted patrols in three directions: in the Martuni and Martakert regions as well as along the Lachin corridor. It is also noted that ongoing cooperation is maintained with the general staffs of the armed forces of Armenia and Azerbaijan to prevent possible incidents.
