35-Year-Old Man Arrested for Assaulting Doctor and Security Guard

In the framework of a criminal case being investigated by the Yerevan Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, investigative and procedural measures are underway to clarify all circumstances surrounding the incidents of hooliganism committed by a 35-year-old man at the Muratsan University Hospital and the assault on a security guard of the same hospital.

According to the Investigative Committee, preliminary data indicates that on November 15, 2022, around 20:45, a 35-year-old resident of Yerevan engaged in an unfounded dispute with a doctor from the Muratsan University Hospital at the hospital's reception area, during which he struck her in the face with his fist.

Furthermore, the next day at around 00:35, the 35-year-old man had a dispute with a security guard of the same hospital in front of the facility, during which he delivered several blows to the guard's body, causing bodily harm.

During the pre-investigation, several individuals have been questioned, and a forensic examination has been ordered. The 35-year-old resident of Yerevan has been arrested. The investigation continues.
