Where the Knife Was Found: Details on the Brutal Murders in Pemzashen

The tragic event that took place in Pemzashen continues to raise numerous questions among the public, particularly regarding why the intruders resorted to such brutality against the family members. ArmLur.am reports that the preliminary investigation revealed that the alleged criminals inflicted numerous knife wounds on the family.

One key inquiry is the whereabouts of the knife used in the murders, and whether it has been recovered by law enforcement. "We learned that the knife, with which it is presumed the mother and her two children were killed, was found by the police right at their home," the media outlet stated, adding that the knife is currently undergoing examination and the results will determine if it was indeed used in the killings of the mother and children.

It should be noted that on November 9, an extraordinary and tragic incident occurred in one of the houses in the consolidated community of Artik, Shirak Province, specifically in the village of Pemzashen. The home's residents did not respond to knocks at the door, and upon opening the door in the presence of law enforcement, three bodies were discovered on the floor: Zarine Meliksetyan, her daughter Karine Meliksetyan, and her 8-year-old son.

For several days, law enforcement struggled to identify the perpetrators of the horrific crime against the family. However, on November 12, those suspected of the crime were located, and one of them, Vruyr Barseghyan, confessed.
