We Have Given Our Text Regarding the Peace Agreement to Azerbaijan in Washington: Pashinyan
We have handed our text regarding the peace agreement to the Azerbaijani side in Washington. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a question and answer session with the government in the National Assembly.
“We are now waiting for responses from Azerbaijan. However, we also see certain trends of tension, which are related to specific events. The issue is that the international community supports our view that Azerbaijani troops must withdraw from the territory of Armenia, and we hope that the CSTO will also support this position. Of course, it would be unusual if the CSTO did not support our position,” Pashinyan said.
According to him, this consensus will be recorded at the CSTO summit to be held in Yerevan on November 23. Pashinyan added that they do not want to incite war between the CSTO and Azerbaijan, but it is important that the CSTO gives a clear political assessment of the situation and the occupation carried out by Azerbaijan.
