US Imposes Sanctions on Microchip Manufacturer in Armenia

The United States, through the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) in conjunction with the State Department, has imposed sanctions on a transnational network involved in the procurement of technologies supporting the Russian military-industrial complex. This is reported by Aravot.am.

The sanctions also target Milur Electronics, a company based in Armenia.

It is noted that Milur Electronics LLC is the Armenian branch of the Russian company Milandr, which produces integrated microchips and was established to receive orders from foreign factories, manufacture microchips, and conduct foreign sales.

In fact, Milur Electronics has been used as a front company for Milandr, serving as a means to conduct business with Milandr’s foreign partners.
