Russian Defense Ministry on Khramort Incidents

The Russian Ministry of Defense has confirmed violations of the ceasefire regime by the Azerbaijani side in the Askeran region of Artsakh.

"A ceasefire violation has been recorded in the Askeran region. On November 12, at 15:30, gunfire was opened from Azerbaijani positions towards a local resident who was conducting agricultural work 1.8 km east of Khramort using agricultural machinery," the statement says.

According to the report, as a result of the shelling, the local resident sustained minor injuries, and the equipment sustained insignificant damage. It is noted that in connection with this incident, the command of the Russian peacekeeping forces is conducting an investigation in cooperation with the Azerbaijani side.

Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Artsakh reported that Azerbaijani soldiers shelled peaceful residents of Khramort village in the Askeran region on November 12, resulting in one person injured.
