They Want to Weaken Russia: Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that attempts by a number of countries to rewrite world history are becoming increasingly aggressive. According to Putin, their goal is to divide Russian society and weaken the country, as reported by gazeta.ru.

“The attempts of certain states to rewrite and transform world history are becoming more aggressive and, fundamentally, have an obvious purpose regarding our society, at least to divide us, deprive us of our landmarks, ultimately weaken Russia and affect its sovereignty, effectively undermining sovereignty,” said Putin.

Earlier, Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev stated that the United States and its allies are turning people against each other and pushing the world into a global war by refusing to condemn the glorification of racism and Nazism.
