Nikol Pashinyan and Anthony Blinken Discuss Relations Between Armenia and Azerbaijan

On November 15, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.

The interlocutors exchanged thoughts on the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, particularly regarding the meeting held in Washington on November 7 between the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, followed by a trilateral discussion.

Secretary Blinken expressed the United States' readiness to continue supporting the relationship between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as efforts to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh issue.

Prime Minister Pashinyan assessed the U.S. efforts and Secretary Blinken's personal involvement positively. The two sides agreed to continue discussions on measures aimed at increasing security and stability in the region, including addressing humanitarian issues.
