Zelensky Visits Kherson
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has traveled to Kherson. This was reported by 'Ukrinform'. Earlier, Zelensky had announced that Kherson is 'returning under the control of Ukraine.'
On November 12, the president's office indicated that the head of the regional military administration, Yaroslav Yanushevich, along with National Police and Security Service of Ukraine personnel, had already begun operations in Kherson and the region.
It should be noted that Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, on November 9, ordered the transfer of Russian troops from the right bank of the Dniper River, where the regional center is located, to the left bank, based on the proposal of the commander of the group of forces acting in the special military operation zone, Sergey Surovikin. According to Surovikin, all civilian residents—over 115,000 people—who wished to evacuate had already been relocated from the right bank.
