A New Theory Regarding the Horrific Murder in Pemzashen

The gruesome murder of 31-year-old Zarine M. and her two minor children, a 12-year-old daughter and an 8-year-old son, in Pemzashen is still unsolved. Law enforcement is working around the clock in this direction. While no suspects have been identified yet, various theories regarding the motive behind the murder are circulating. This was reported by Aravot.am, referencing sources from the police.

One of the prevalent theories involves border violations; there are certain claims that such an incident has indeed occurred in the area of the Armenia-Turkey border, where there are even no barbed wires. Some time ago, a tractor was reportedly stolen after crossing the border. Those circulating this theory are seeing a possible hostile trace in this murder.

There are suggestions that the perpetrator may be someone familiar with the family, who, knowing that the husband is working abroad and may have sent money, entered the home with the expectation of money, leading to this inhumane act. However, this theory seems to be disproved as initial information indicates that nothing was stolen from the house; not even the shelves in the cupboards were disturbed, and the murdered woman's gold earrings were left untouched.

According to sources from the police media, there is another theory being investigated. Law enforcement has found a friendly connection between the 60-year-old woman recently murdered in Gyumri, who worked as a kindergarten janitor, and one of the relatives of the father of this Pemzashen family. In both cases, it seems that there is a similarity in the modus operandi of the crime; in the older woman’s case, her throat was also cut. This incident, which took place on September 20, is still unsolved as well. There is suspicion that someone might be seeking revenge.

Of course, this is also being examined, with clarifications being made by law enforcement. The young woman who was murdered, Zarine, according to those who knew her, grew up in a family of educators; she is from Gusanak village and married into Pemzashen. Her parents are serious, exceptional individuals, and she was equally composed. The murdered woman’s father was the principal of the school in Gusanak for many years and is a physics and mathematics teacher.

According to information disseminated by the prosecutor’s office: “Upon examination of the crime scene, the body of a male child was discovered on the single bed in the bedroom, with cut and stab wounds on the chest, and his hands and feet bound. The body of a female child was found on the floor of the same bedroom, with stab and cut wounds on the posterior surface of the chest and the abdomen, and the body of a female adult was found with cut and stab wounds on the abdomen and chest, also bound at the back with string.”
