Iran Congratulates Azerbaijan, but Not Everyone in the Country Welcomes This Move
In Iran, not everyone appreciates the congratulations sent by its embassy in Baku regarding Azerbaijan's victory in the 44-day war.
Iranian writer and analyst Salar Seyf wrote on his Twitter account:
"The Ministry of Information has officially accused the Baku government of participating in the terrorist attack in Shah Cheragh, Aliyev is subtly threatening Iran with war, and his official media are discussing the collapse of Iran. Yet the Iranian embassy in Baku, as a separate island, sends congratulations to such a government. This is called 'caviar diplomacy.'"
Earlier, we reported that congratulations have also come from Belarus, and the Tbilisi television tower and bridge have been painted in the colors of the Azerbaijani flag.
