All US States Have Completed Voting in Midterm Elections

All US states have completed voting in the midterm elections during which Americans are entirely re-electing members of the House of Representatives, one-third of the Senate, legislators, and many state governors.

The first results are already known, but the fate of critical districts that could determine the outcome of these elections remains unclear, reports BBC.

According to projections from CBS, a US partner of the BBC, control of the House of Representatives may shift to the Republicans.

Currently, both chambers of Congress are controlled by President Joe Biden's Democrats, who hold 220 seats in the House compared to 212 for the Republicans. To secure a majority, a party needs 218 mandates. Based on preliminary results, Republicans have recorded favorable outcomes.
