Gagik Tsarukyan is Building a Hotel Near the Tsaghkadzor Cable Car

Construction work is underway in Tsaghkadzor, adjacent to the cable car. According to Tert.am, a hotel is being built that belongs to Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party. Part of the privatized land lot is currently the parking area serving the cable car, which now belongs to the hotel.

The media outlet sent an inquiry to the Tsaghkadzor municipality to clarify what is being constructed and who granted the construction permit. “The construction work is being carried out by the Armenian National Olympic Committee (ANOC), and the construction permit was issued on November 8, 2021. A hotel is being constructed, represented by a four-story building with external dimensions of 54x19 meters. The land occupied by the mentioned building is owned by the Armenian National Olympic Committee (ANOC),” the response indicated. It is noteworthy that Gagik Tsarukyan is the president of the Armenian National Olympic Committee.
