16.5 Billion Dram Exemption for Multi Tabak Company

Today’s government session agenda included a question regarding the approval of the request submitted by ‘MULTI TABAK’ LLC for exemption from customs duties specifically for the technological equipment, its components, supplementary parts, raw materials and substances imported within the framework of the investment program implemented in the priority sector. The question was accepted.

The raw materials imported by ‘MULTI TABAK’ are intended for tobacco production, which will be carried out in the Kotayk province of Armenia.

The project includes an investment amounting to 59 billion drams and is expected to create 100 new jobs with an average monthly salary of 350,000 drams. The total value of the goods submitted for the exemption request amounts to 162.6 billion drams. The exemption from customs duties is evaluated at 16.5 billion drams, as stated in the project.
