It Is Very Important for Us to Have Russia's Clear Position on This Issue: Pashinyan to Putin

“It is important for Armenia that Azerbaijani troops withdraw from the part of Nagorno-Karabakh that is under the responsibility of the Russian peacekeepers. I hope the resolution of this issue will come as a result of the trilateral meeting,” Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during a meeting with Putin in Sochi.

Referring to the large-scale aggression of Azerbaijan against the sovereign territory of Armenia on September 13, Pashinyan stated, “It is very important for us to have Russia's clear position on this matter; it is necessary for the Azerbaijani armed forces to pull back to their positions as of May 11, 2021.”
