Young Man Attempted to Exchange Counterfeit Dollars in Yerevan

On October 25, at 20:55, the operational management center of the police received a call from a monitoring officer of one of the banks, reporting that a citizen had attempted to exchange counterfeit 500 dram notes at a bank branch.

The officers of the patrol service of the Yerevan city police's second battalion arrested a 22-year-old man on charges of circulating counterfeit bills. During a personal search, 26 counterfeit 500 dram notes were discovered in his possession.

The young man has been presented to the investigative body, and a criminal case has been initiated.
