Parents and Sister of One of the Teenagers Who Died in a Fatal Accident Were Killed in Georgia Two Years Ago
The investigators of the Aragatsotn regional investigative department of the Armenian Investigative Committee and the officers of the Ashtarak division of the police have identified the victims and the injured person from the tragic traffic accident-fire that occurred yesterday, October 25, in the village of Oshakan.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the deceased have been identified as residents of Oshakan village: 16-year-old Eduard Grigoryan, 17-year-old Mihran Mirijanyan, and 18-year-old Narek Poghosyan. The charred bodies of the deceased were extracted from the vehicle by Ashtarak firefighters using special equipment.
Seventeen-year-old Albert Nersisyan, also from Oshakan village, has been transferred to an academic burn center. Sources report that two years ago, the parents and sister of M. Mirijanyan, one of the deceased, died in a tragic traffic accident in the Republic of Georgia. According to preliminary information, the vehicle was being driven by E. Grigoryan.
