15 People Killed in Shooting in Shiraz, Iran; Several Injured
In Shiraz, Iran, armed criminals opened fire near the Shah Cheragh shrine, resulting in at least 15 fatalities and 40 injuries, according to the local Fars agency.
Reports indicate that three armed individuals fired shots in the vicinity of the shrine. Two of them have been apprehended, while operations are ongoing to arrest the third suspect.
“The death toll from the attack on the Shah Cheragh shrine has reached 15,” states a report from the IRIB agency. Iranian media are labeling the attack as terrorism.
