Our Countries Have Made It Clear: Britain, France, and the US on Possible Use of a 'Dirty Bomb'

The Foreign Ministers of Great Britain and France, James Cleverly and Catherine Colonna, as well as US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, have stated that their countries reject Russia's claims that Ukraine is preparing to use a so-called 'dirty bomb' on its territory.

"Our countries have made it clear that we all reject Russia's overtly false claims that Ukraine is preparing to use a dirty bomb on its own soil. The world recognizes these claims as a pretext for Russia's attempts at escalation," reads a joint statement published on the British government's website.

Earlier, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu expressed concern to his counterparts in the US, France, and Turkey regarding the potential use of a 'dirty bomb' by Kyiv.
