Margarita Simonyan: 'It's hard to believe that Krasovsky sincerely thought children should be burned or suffocated'

Russia Today has ceased cooperation with the director of Russian-language broadcasts Anton Krasovsky following his remarks about Ukrainian children, announced Margarita Simonyan, the head of Russia Today.

On her Telegram channel, Simonyan described Krasovsky's statements as despicable. 'Neither I nor the rest of the collective can allow anyone to even think that we could share such wild nonsense,' wrote Simonyan, adding that 'it's hard to believe that Krasovsky sincerely thought that children should be burned or suffocated.'

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba posted a clip on Twitter from Russian RT's broadcast, in which host Anton Krasovsky stated that 'Ukraine should not exist at all' and 'Ukrainian children who think Russia has occupied Ukrainian territory should be burned and suffocated.'
