Jermuk Hotels Resume Operations
Jermuk hotels are resuming their operations. In a statement released by the Jermuk Tourism Development Center, it is noted: "To have a strong army, protected borders, and a prosperous life, it is necessary to work and develop the economy, connecting people to the land. Our army needs a strong support. After nearly 20 days of suspension, companies in the hotel business in Jermuk are resuming their operations. We are returning to the normal flow of life and welcome all our friends to our city. For both the country's economy and the development of Jermuk, it is essential that we spend our money within the country. Therefore, we invite everyone to enjoy the autumnal Jermuk and contribute to the city's revival."
It is worth noting that as a result of the intense military operations that began on September 13 at midnight along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, official data indicates that there are 206 casualties and missing persons on the Armenian side, at least 20 prisoners of war, and 80 fatalities on the Azerbaijani side, with both sides having hundreds wounded. A ceasefire was announced on the evening of September 14. However, this has been periodically violated, resulting in the Armenian side already having 3 deaths and one wounded, while the Azerbaijani side has reported 4 injuries. As of September 28 at 22:00, the situation at the border is relatively stable.
