Armenia Abandons Quarterly Gatherings: New 25-Day Requirement for All Conscripts

Currently underway is the latest session of the Armenian government. During the meeting, the issue of quarterly gatherings was also discussed.

“We are abandoning quarterly gatherings. The gatherings will become 25-day events, but this will be mandatory for all conscript citizens holding Armenian citizenship. We are giving people the opportunity to choose their term,” stated Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan.

The Prime Minister added that people should have the opportunity to plan their lives, and this should be mandatory for everyone.
