Details on the Death of a 2-Year-Old Child in Gyumri

In Gyumri’s ‘Children’s Home’ state institution, a 2-year-old child has died due to severe health issues and combined illnesses incompatible with life. This was reported to the ‘MediaHub’ by Zar Manucharyan, spokesperson for the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs. During this time, the child's parents have not come forward.

It is recalled that earlier reports indicated a tragic incident occurred on October 1 in the Shirak region. On that day, around 07:20, the police received a call from the ‘Children’s Home’ in Gyumri, reporting that a child had died there. An operational group from the Mush police department arrived at the scene. A group from the Shirak regional investigation department of the Armenian Investigative Committee also arrived, led by Senior Investigator Sahakyan. The police established that the deceased was 2-year-old Misha A.

Based on the incident, an investigation has been initiated by the Shirak regional investigative department. By decision of the investigator, a forensic examination of the body has been assigned.
