This is stated in the monarch's death certificate, which was issued on September 16 and made public today. The certificate was signed by Paul Lowe, the chief registrar of deaths and marriages in Scotland.

According to the document, the 96-year-old queen died on September 8 at 15:10 local time. Her death was recorded by her daughter, Princess Anne.
