Putin to Deliver Extensive Speech Tomorrow; Contracts for Incorporating New Territories into Russia to be Signed

Vladimir Putin will participate in a ceremony for the signing of contracts regarding the incorporation of new territories into Russia tomorrow, Friday, as announced by Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov.

"The signing ceremony for the contracts regarding the incorporation of new territories into Russia will take place in the State Kremlin Palace in the Georgievsky Hall at 15:00. President Putin will deliver an extensive speech during the event," Peskov stated.

He noted that this speech would differ from the President's address to the Federal Assembly.

Recall that referendums on joining Russia were held from September 23-27 in the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, as well as in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions. According to the results of processing 100 percent of the ballots in the DPR, 99.23 percent of voters expressed support for joining Russia, while in the LPR, the figure was 98.42 percent, in Kherson it was 87.05 percent, and in Zaporizhzhia, it was 93.11 percent.
