Percentage Increase in Defense Spending in Armenia: Tunyan Presents Figures

According to Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) deputy Babken Tunyan's post, "Defense spending will significantly increase. The draft state budget for 2023 allocates 708.6 billion drams for defense, public order, security, and judicial activities, compared to 518.6 billion drams in 2021.

Allocations have increased by 190 billion drams or 37%. The additional funding will primarily be directed towards military defense, as well as to public order and security, national security, judicial activities, and legal protection."
