Iran's Parliament to Discuss Armenian-Azerbaijani Border Tensions Tomorrow

Iranian expert and founder of the "Armenia-Iran Strategic Cooperation Development Center" Pouya Hosseini reports on his Facebook page that the Islamic Parliament of Iran will discuss the issue of border tensions between Armenia and Azerbaijan at a special session scheduled for September 21.

Chairman of the Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, Vahid Jalalzadeh, stated regarding this matter: "It is expected that an important discussion will take place in the parliament." He noted that the Iranian side is seriously concerned about the recent incidents occurring at the border of the two neighboring countries. Jalalzadeh added: "High-ranking officials of the Islamic Republic, the Supreme National Security Council, as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the parliament want to seriously address this issue."
