France's Foreign Ministry Expresses Regret to Azerbaijan

France's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed regret over the "unacceptable incidents" that occurred in front of the Azerbaijani diplomatic mission. This statement was made by the press service of the French foreign policy department.

The ministry emphasized that the government has taken all necessary measures to ensure the security of the Azerbaijani embassy. A few days ago, members of the Armenian community in France held a protest against Azerbaijani aggression. Protesters claimed that diplomats had been injured and had displayed obscene gestures from the window.

It is noteworthy that Azerbaijani military units have been intensively firing artillery and large-caliber firearms towards Goris, Sotk, and Jermuk since September 13. The enemy has also been using drones.

On September 16, during a government session, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that the confirmed number of Armenian casualties stands at 135.

Since 8:00 PM on September 14, a ceasefire regime has been established along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, which has been maintained to this day. According to a statement from the National Security Council of Armenia, the number of those killed and missing due to Azerbaijan's large-scale aggression has reached 207, including 3 civilians who have died, while 2 civilians are considered missing. Additionally, 293 servicemen and 7 civilians have been injured, and 20 servicemen have been taken prisoner.
