More than 100 People Detained in Paris

French law enforcement authorities have detained over 100 individuals during protests by supporters of the "Yellow Vests" movement and a pro-Ukrainian demonstration in Paris. This information has been reported by the press service of the Metropolitan Police Prefecture.

It has been noted that the police primarily targeted the unauthorized protests of the "Yellow Vests" supporters, many of whom were detained and fined.

A group of aggressive demonstrators was also observed near the Republic Square, joining an impromptu march in support of Ukraine.

“During the police intervention, 103 individuals were detained (93 for participating in a group march with intentions of vandalism and violence, three for deliberately damaging property, three for failing to obey police orders, and four for committing acts of violence against law enforcement), and administrative actions were taken against 54 persons,” the prefecture's statement read.
