We Have Saved Gas: Scholz on Refusing Russian Gas
Germany and Europe are prepared for a complete halt in gas supplies from the Russian Federation, as stated by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. According to Armenpress, Scholz announced that terminal facilities for the import of liquefied gas have already been installed on Germany's North Sea coast, and overall, the country is saving gas.
“We have saved gas. We are once again utilizing the production capabilities of coal-fired power plants. By the beginning of next year, we will have the opportunity to use the remaining South German nuclear power plants, if necessary,” Bloomberg quoted the Chancellor's words.
