Zelensky Imposes Sanctions
Ukraine has imposed sanctions against 606 representatives of the Russian authorities. This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a message published on his Telegram channel.
“Today, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine made an important decision: sanctions have been imposed against 606 individuals belonging to the Russian ruling elite. This includes 28 members of the Russian Security Council, 154 members of the Federation Council, and 424 deputies of the State Duma of Russia,” Zelensky stated.
He added that a number of legal, diplomatic, and political measures have already been undertaken against these individuals, but did not specify what these measures entail. The president has not published the list of individuals against whom sanctions have been imposed.
