Pashinyan and Putin Hold Phone Conversation: What Did They Discuss
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, and the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, have held a phone conversation. This was reported by the press service of the government.
During the conversation, they congratulated each other on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation, and Mutual Assistance between Armenia and Russia, which, it should be noted, marks its anniversary today.
Both sides expressed confidence that the mutually beneficial relations of the Armenian-Russian alliance will continue to develop and strengthen effectively in various fields.
Nikol Pashinyan and Vladimir Putin exchanged views on a number of agenda issues concerning Armenian-Russian relations. The situation surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh was also addressed. In particular, they emphasized the importance of consistently implementing the trilateral agreements made on November 9, 2020, January 11, 2021, and November 26.
