Kremlin on Putin's Upcoming Visit to Armenia

The Kremlin has not yet confirmed Russian President Vladimir Putin's upcoming visit to Armenia. This was stated by Yuri Ushakov, the aide to the Russian President for international affairs.

Earlier, Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan announced that Putin's visit might take place between October and December.

"I have no confirmation. So far, we have not officially announced anything on our side," Ushakov told reporters in response to a question about whether such a visit is being prepared.

He added that the working contacts between Russian leader Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan are active, with the two meeting several times in person this year and having regular phone conversations.
