Erdogan: 'Now the West Is in Panic'
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has stated that the West is in panic over how to deal with the upcoming winter amid rising prices. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
Following the start of the special military operation in Ukraine, the West intensified its sanctions pressure on Russia, leading to increased prices for electricity, fuel, and food in Europe and the U.S. Meanwhile, as noted by Russian President Vladimir Putin, the policy of containing and weakening Russia is a long-term strategy of the West, and the sanctions have dealt a serious blow to the global economy.
"There is a theme of energy crisis, prices are rising. Now the West is in panic over how it will get through this winter. I hope that through rational steps we will overcome these challenges," Erdogan said at a press conference in Croatia.
