Hovik Abrahamyan's Son Appears in Prosecutor's Office

In connection with the confiscation of assets of illegal origin, Hovik Abrahamyan's son, Argam Abrahamyan, has appeared at the Prosecutor's Office. This was reported to News.am by the advisor to the Chief Prosecutor, Gor Abrahamyan.

“We are waiting for the other individuals who have received notifications to present themselves to familiarize themselves with the case materials and to present their positions,” said Gor Abrahamyan.

As previously reported, former Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan has been summoned to the Department of Confiscation of Assets of Illegal Origin of the RA Prosecutor's Office. Thirteen individuals connected to Abrahamyan have also been summoned to the Prosecutor's Office, including his wife, daughter, son Argam Abrahamyan, and daughter-in-law Emma Tsarukyan, who is the daughter of Gagik Tsarukyan, the president of the Prosperous Armenia Party.

Others summoned to the Prosecutor's Office include former Artashat Deputy Mayor Gagik Poghosyan, Abrahamyan's bodyguard Bagratuni Barseghyan, and driver Grigor Gevorgyan.

A detention order has been applied to assets belonging to Abrahamyan and his relatives within the framework of the criminal case for the discovery of illegal assets.
