Citizen Drowns in Lake Sevan: What is Known

A citizen has drowned in Lake Sevan, according to reports from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.

On September 4, at 18:53, the Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center received a call about a citizen who had gone swimming at the 'Golden Beach' near the village of Dzovazhar and was missing. Assistance from rescuers was needed.

A special rescue team that had been on duty at the N1 public beach was dispatched to the scene. The rescuers found the body of the citizen A. Kh. (born in 1959) approximately 40 meters from the shore and brought it to the ambulance.
