Israel Strikes Aleppo International Airport Again
The Israeli military has launched a missile strike on Aleppo International Airport, with several projectiles reportedly intercepted, according to Syria's state media SANA.
"The air defense has responded to the Israeli missiles and shot down several of them," the media outlet noted.
It should be recalled that earlier, the Israeli military had also carried out airstrikes on various sites in Syria.
The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has addressed the UN Secretary-General and the President of the UN Security Council, calling for the condemnation of Israeli attacks on Syrian territory.
The ministry stated that Syrian reports indicated that Israeli forces routinely target civilian facilities in Syria, posing a threat to navigation and civil aviation, as well as endangering the lives of ordinary citizens.
Furthermore, the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged the UN to assess Israel's actions as a "deliberate and repeated violation of the sovereignty of a UN member state," which constitutes "a direct threat to peace and security at regional and international levels."
