U.S. Ambassador John Sullivan has completed his work in Russia and departed from Moscow today. This information has been confirmed by the U.S. diplomatic mission in Russia.

"U.S. Ambassador John Sullivan has concluded his tenure as the U.S. envoy in the Russian Federation and today left Moscow. Until Ambassador Sullivan's successor arrives, Elizabeth Rood will serve as the Chargé d'Affaires ad interim at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow," the embassy's statement reads.
