«Our Dream Army Is Not Behind the Mountains» - Papikyan

The Minister of Defense, Suren Papikyan, participated in the graduation ceremony of RUH cadets. The solemn event for the graduates of the RA Ministry of Defense’s military educational institutions for the year 2022 took place at the Vazgen Sargsyan Military University of the RA Ministry of Defense. After a prayer by the spiritual leader of the Armenian Armed Forces, graduates were presented with diplomas and officer's sabers.

Minister Suren Papikyan greeted and congratulated the young officers. In his speech, the head of the defense department particularly noted that the ranks of the armed forces are being filled with educated officers who will take command in the Armenian army, which has forged victories, overcome numerous trials, and passed through the crucible of wars. This army, now more than ever, requires officers armed with knowledge of modern technologies and who dedicate themselves selflessly to serving their homeland.

“Being a military officer is an honor and a great mission. You also take on the extremely responsible and honorable mission of educating our conscripts, loving the homeland, defending it, and mastering the military profession and weaponry. I congratulate you on receiving your officer’s rank and wish you health, strength, and resilience for the peaceful and uninterrupted fulfillment of your patriotic mission. Our dream army, which requires unwavering dedication and hard work, is not behind the mountains,” stated Suren Papikyan.

The Chief of the General Staff of the RA Armed Forces, First Deputy Minister of Defense, Major General Edward Asryan also congratulated the graduates and sent his wishes. The event concluded with a demonstration performance by the Honorary Guard Company of the RA Armed Forces.
