Video: Emergency Situation in Bosphorus as Strait Closed Due to Cargo Ship Accident

Traffic in the Bosphorus has been halted due to an emergency situation. The dry cargo ship Lady Zehma, which was en route from Ukraine to Istanbul, has encountered an accident.

According to coastal safety services, the movement of vessels has been suspended. This ship is one of the six tankers that left Ukrainian ports on August 30 carrying agricultural products.
