Man Strips Down and Beats Stranger with Dead Seagull in Germany

A man in Hamburg, Germany, was reported to have beaten a stranger with a dead seagull. According to the Daily Mail, the incident occurred when a 31-year-old German woman was walking near the Aeyendorfer Lake with two friends. Suddenly, a man approached them, started to insult the woman, and kicked her dog.

When the woman began calling the police, he stripped down, removed his pants and underwear, picked up the dead seagull from the ground, and assaulted her with it.

Shortly after, the police arrived at the scene. The man managed to escape and tried to hide from law enforcement across the lake.

The suspect was apprehended with the assistance of a rescue boat and a police helicopter. Two officers had to jump into the water to detain him. During a search, two knives were found and seized from the 41-year-old suspect. He was taken into custody by the police.
