Video: Fire at Urartu-2 Economic Goods Store, Large Number of Firefighters Arrive

A major fire broke out today, August 25, in Yerevan. At approximately 4:15 AM, the 911 crisis management center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call reporting that a fire had ignited at number 4 Yervand Kochar Street, at the Urartu-2 economic goods store.

According to Shamshyan.com, one firefighting unit from Emergency Situations Ministry Fire and Rescue Units 3 and 8 arrived at the scene. A 'BIS 1' level of complexity was declared for the fire.

Before the firefighters arrived, citizens managed to prevent the spread of the flames on their own. Fortunately, according to preliminary reports, there were no injuries. Thanks to the efforts of the citizens and the firefighters, the spread of the fire was halted, saving the first-floor shop and the second-floor Vlad Fitness gym.
