New Details on the Gunfire in Ejmiatsin: Has the Story Continued?

The investigation into the murder and the illegal acquisition, possession, transportation, and carrying of firearms that occurred in the city of Ejmiatsin is ongoing in the Vagharshapat investigative division of the Armavir regional investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee.

As previously reported, on August 18, 2022, at 23:25, a report was received regarding two 27-year-old young men from Ejmiatsin who were transported to a medical center with gunshot wounds. Shortly after, one of them passed away in the hospital without regaining consciousness.

As a result of the measures taken, several circumstances surrounding the young men's bodily injuries were clarified, including the scene of the incident. The investigation gathered evidence indicating that the young men sustained gunshot wounds during an armed conflict.

As part of urgent investigative actions, the
